Mitsubishi Outlander 2014

Mitsubishi uses a gasoline engine type 4B11 2.0-liter DOHC MIVEC 4-cylinder-powered 118 hp at 4500 rpm and torque of 186 Nm at 4500 rpm, 2 electric motors (front / rear), Lithium-ion battery. Each deploy electric motor power 82 hp, while the front of the motor torque 137 Nm and 195 Nm rear motors.

There are three driving modes in the Outlander PHEV: EV, Hybrid Series and Parallel Hybrid.

When the EV mode is active, the second motor that gets energy from the battery driving all wheels. This mode is active when the initial acceleration or running at low speed.

When Mode Hybrid Series, 2.0-liter engine serves as a generator that provides electricity to two motors. The system will convert into Series Hybrid Mode when the remaining charge in the battery is less adequate and more powerful performance when needed (such as during acceleration for overtaking or climbing).

Parallel Hybrid Mode functions when the car drove at high speed. Engine provides primary power, aided by two motors if needed.

Lithium-ion batteries can be charged (plug-in) at home with a voltage of 200V AC (15 A) for 4 hours from empty to 100%. Quick Charge only takes 30 minutes to charge the battery from empty to 80%.

Honda Freed is a product of the MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) and in Indonesia this vehicle is identical with the title "Family Car" considering the designs that resemble a car van plus sliding door.
